Support VA through the EGL Alumni Fund

Volunteer Abroad (VA) gives EGL students a chance to spend two weeks in a foreign country working on a service project and experiencing the foreign culture. Not only do students get to help a region in need with a relevant service project, but they also get to bond with a group of EGL students and gain a great deal of leadership experience. After going on a VA trip, many students have a new sense of appreciation for what they have back in Ann Arbor. Unfortunately the projects do cause a significant financial burden for students and in the past some students have not been able to go on the trip due to financial constraints. The goal of the Alumni VA fund is to make the trip affordable for anyone who wants to go! Please read more about giving to next year’s trip and the impact of previous trips below.
